Support the FANTASTICALLY SUCCESSFUL Warm your Hearts-Pets in Need at Brushstrokes, 340 Market Street during the ice festival. Brushstrokes will be a drop-off site of needed items and funds for local shelters and rescues.

Friday, February 5

Noon-3 p, Ice Carving in Hufnagle Park. Watch the First Night Ice Carvers create giant ice sculptures in Hufnagle Park and in front of the downtown Federal Building

5:30 pm, A Cappella on Ice, Campus Theatre. Bucknell A.C.E.S. presents a night of music at the Campus Theatre featuring several of Bucknells very own a Cappella groups. Come warm up during the Ice Festival and join us in supporting Bucknells fully student-run international service organization while enjoying the sounds of the Bison Chips, the Offbeats, the Silhouettes and more. There will be a suggested donation of $5. All proceeds will go towards funding the B.A.C.E.S. annual service trip to the Dominican Republic. Saturday, February 6th

10 a.m. Frosty 5K. Beat the winter blues and Run/Walk the Frosty 5k during Lewisburgs Ice Festival. Sponsored by Lewisburg Sunset Rotary.

10 a.m. -1 p.m. Childrens Games in Hufnagle Park. FREE (Donations accepted). Lewisburg Sunset Rotary will host games in the Park for children of all ages. Snowball throw, ice fishing, outdoor birdfeeder making, snow golf and more family-friendly games are offered for FREE in the park.

1:00 to 3:00 p.m., 8th Annual Frosty Kettle Chili Cook Off, The Lewisburg Club, 131 Market Street, enter the Pine Room at the REAR of the building. Who makes the best darn chili? $5 to taste all the chili and YOU are the judge!

1-4 p.m. Lewisburg Arts Council Silent Art Auction, Barnes & Noble Community Room, third floor, 400 Market St.

2:00 p.m. 10th Annual Polar Bear Plunge., $20. St. George Street Landing. On-Site registration begins at 12:30 day of the event. Advance registration on-line only. Event sponsored by Bucknells Office of Civic Engagement.

18th Annual Chocolate Festival to benefit the Donald L. Heiter Community Center
7:00 p.m., Lewisburg Hotel, 136 Market Street. All you can eat hors d oeuvres, all you can sample chocolate and beverage for $30/person. Evening also includes a silent auction, raffle and cash bar. All proceeds benefit the centers work in the community.

6:30 9:30 p.m., Cocoa Fest, a chocolate lovers festival for kids 5-13 years old, at the Lewisburg Club, directly across the street from the Lewisburg Hotel.

The Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival is a Lewisburg Downtown Partnership event, made possible through the help of Lewisburg Sunset Rotary and many cooperative partners: Borough of Lewisburg, Bucknell University, Union County Emergency Squad; William Cameron Ambulance Association; Promotion Sponsor Sunbury Broadcasting; Donald Heiter Center; Bucknells Office of Civic Engagement; Lewisburg Arts Council; Lewisburg Lions Club; the Campus Theatre Ltd.; Weis Center for the Performing Arts; Samek Museum; Bucknell A.C.E.S.; Brushstrokes, Bull Run Tap House, Barnes & Noble at Bucknell and the many other downtown businesses who work to make the festival a special time.
