The Franklin Blues and BBQ Festival was organized in 2015, after renowned local blues musician Max Schang envisioned hosting a Blues Festival in Franklin, PA.

Local festival organizers and volunteers worked to make this annual event a reality, joining world class blues musicians with the area's top barbeque vendors.

It is our mission that any proceeds made from the event will be donated to our local school programs to benefit their music programs. Following our 2017 event, we have donated a total of $2,500 to our local school music programs.

We take pride in providing this level of entertainment to our community at no cost to the patrons. We are only one of a few Blues Music Festivals in the nation that is free to the public. This is accomplished with the generosity of our local business and individual sponsors.
