This 18th Century living history event gives visitors an educational glimpse of Colonial life. It features French & Indian War battles by British, French, and Native American re-enactors, The day is filled with Living History demonstrations of period skills such as; weaving, animal husbandry, fur trapping, log hewing, powder horn making, and much more. There are also children's activities, games, music by a local fife and drum corp and a strolling violinist, archaeology exhibits of Forts Halifax, Hunter, and Augusta, museums, handmade arts and crafts, local arts and nature organizations, food vendors, and more! This event is free to the public and hosted by Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization assisting Halifax Township with Fort Halifax Park educational activities.
